General Legal Assistance Including Ongoing Corporate and Secretarial Compliance

Client Industry: SaaS
Time: 8 weeks

Background

A newly incorporated company (SaaS startup) sought our assistance in setting up their personnel and HR policies for their office in New Delhi, employment agreement in respect of 40 employees, and other routine documents required for commencing their operations

Scope and Approach

We drafted an employee handbook for the organization, including details relating to prevention of sexual harassment, equal opportunity for the disabled, leave entitlements, and maternity benefits. We also drafted employee agreements and consultant agreements. In addition, our secretarial team continues to maintain the company’s minutes book relating to the board and shareholders’ meetings, and the statutory corporate registers.

Value Delivered

Our compliance driven approach proved valuable to the company in light of the incoming pre series seed investments and allowed the founders to focus on core operations rather than be held back by compliance-related burdens.
